We use micro bids in order to optimize the activity in the campaign.
When pulling a report with ONLY ONE SEGMENT, you can set a micro bid to this exact segment.
For example, when pulling a report by 'site domains' segment, you can make the following actions:
1. Block a specific domain from the report- will affect the campaign's settings-
2. Set a micro bid to a specific site domain/app -
Meaning, I can raise/lower the bid according to my decision.
After committing any kind of change (set micro bid/ block domain)- it's better to double check in the campaign's settings that the change was made.
You can change a micro bid to any segment in the report! (but please note that you have to filter the report by the segment you would like to set the micro bid).
You can set more than one micro bid, but if the micro bids are colliding - the LAST micro bid that was changed- IS THE ONE THAT WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT! (chronologically)
Inside a campaign settings page, at the beginning in the right side you will find an Action button, and there you can find the list of all bids that was related to the given account:
From here, you can also remove the micro bid or update it.
Inside the 'Update micro bid' button you can find the audit- trails: all the changes that have been made regarding the specific segment:
